I am very, very, very proud of this. I believe it's the most realistic thing I've ever drawn. All in all, it took me about two days to draw this, painstakingly drawing on every piece of fur, every vein in each leaf, texture on the bark. It's certainly not perfect, but I feel like I improved in the process of drawing this. (Check out this similarly composed picture
I did just two years ago; huge improvement!). I used no lineart. Everything in this picture was done in colored pencils.
This is a coyote, not a wolf. It's a northeastern coyote, which may have some wolf lineage, but it's certainly not a grey wolf. I absolutely love their coloring, and I've been wanting to draw one for a while now. Drawing a fall-related picture for a friend of the family was a perfect time to try drawing their gorgeous red and brown coat.
With that, I am done with all of my owed art. Now I just have to finish recording a song.
PS- Anyone know where the title is from? If you do without Googling it, you're awesome. c:
